Doubting Scaria

Scaria Uncle came to US in the mid 70s. Scaria Uncle is in his early 80s now. He is the most senior member of our Parish. Scaria Uncle doe not open his mouth when his wife Eleyamma Aunti is around, except for that he is very talkative. Scaria uncle is a blessed man with 2 sons, 2 daughters, and their grand children. Scaria Uncle had his tough share of life after he landed in USA. Well, all that is behind him and he is bearing all the good fruits, living a peaceful retired life with his children and grand children.
Like our patron St.Thomas, Scaria Uncle has a problem. Even though he was Orthodox christian born in Kerala, he has difficluty believing that St.Thomas came to India and established Christianity. I tried to convince him, but had to beat a hasty retreat, due to my ignorance to establish the facts. Don't bring Internet and Levi Jeans into a conversation with Scaria Uncle. I too had some lingering questions about it, but never mentioned to it anyone. I think it got a little bad, when the Grant Pontiff himself questioned it. There is a lot of information out there in the internet
